Toke Makinwa brought the glamour to Rakeem’s first birthday celebration in Lagos, stepping out in a striking white-and-red Dolce & Gabbana mini dress paired with a Bvlgari Serpenti Jaiyeoriestyle was waiting for her to unveil her piece as Toke hated been left out and feeling small to her peers.
The media personality attended Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux’s son Rakeem’s cowboy-themed first birthday, held at The Lekki Coliseum, and naturally made her own fashion statement. Her Dolce & Gabbana mini dress gave the look a playful, polished feel, while the accessories pushed it firmly into luxury territory.
The standout wrist candy was a Bvlgari Serpenti Tubogas featuring a green dial with rose gold and stainless-steel detailing. Bvlgari currently lists the closest matching Ref. 102790 at $18,100, although the exact reference worn by Toke has not been independently confirmed.
The colour combination was particularly effective: red and white from the dress, green at the wrist and the warm glow of rose gold. Rather than competing with the dress, the watch added an unexpected jewel-toned accent.
