Is Beyoncé’s Custom Emilio Pucci Ensemble a Fashion Triumph or a Daring Distraction?

Beyoncé brought colour, sparkle and unmistakable Pucci energy to the Renaissance World Tour in Los Angeles, stepping out in a custom Emilio Pucci creation styled by Shiona Turini.
Designed by Pucci creative director Camille Miceli, the vibrant look reimagined the house’s archival Giardino print, which was also featured in Emilio Pucci’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection. The custom stage version was elevated with crystal embellishment, giving the colourful print an unmistakable Renaissance finish.
Beyoncé completed the look with a matching embellished hat and boots, a crystal body chain and a statement fan, turning the ensemble into a full performance moment rather than simply another concert outfit.
The look captures one of the defining ideas behind Beyoncé’s Renaissance wardrobe: taking fashion-house codes and pushing them into the world of performance.
Pucci’s psychedelic print already carries a strong visual identity, but the crystals and coordinated accessories make it work under stage lighting, where movement, colour and shine become part of the spectacle.
