Sheryl Lee Ralph Wearing Pistis Ghana to 2023 NAACP Awards Styled by: @ivycoco23
The 2023 NAACP Image Awards, which honored accomplishments in the arts, entertainment, and culture by people of color in more over 80 categories, attracted some of the biggest personalities in Hollywood to Pasadena, California.
Sheryl Lee Ralph, an Emmy-winning actress, chose a vibrant red carpet attire.
The actress wore a brilliant orange custom-made Pistis Ghana dress with ruffle sleeves in Kente print, a bodice covered in beads, and a Kente print skirt with further brown embellishments at the train and a mermaid silhouette.
She accessorized with a ring by Nikos Koulis and a pair of gold statement earrings from Misho. Ralph collaborated with her daughter and go-to stylist Ivy Maurice, who was responsible for her mother's recent Super Bowl performance outfit, to create her look for the evening.
Sheryl chose a classic makeup look with matte nude lips, blush, voluminous lashes, and smokey eyeshadow.
She chose a middle part for her hair and put the back into a ponytail.
Sheryl was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at this year's NAACP Image Awards for her part in the popular ABC comedy "Abbott Elementary."
