For our January/February 2022 issue, we are more than excited to share more of the melodic love that Olubankole Wellington @bankyw & Adesua Etomi-Wellington @adesuaetomiW have.
When we decided to do this cover, our minds were heavily on family, love and how similar they are with music and dance. The Melodies of getting married and settling into a new home, the Forte of having children, and the Crescendo of becoming one in a family of many. And embodying this dance are many couples we know and love just like the Wellingtons.
For their first cover as man & wife, we sat down for a real status update. Banky & Adesua graciously allowed us into their space sharing what life has been like for them through the lens of love, family loss, music and future. And at the end of our session with them, we agree with Adesua when she says – “Love is the foundation and motivation”.
We're also taking a look at the hot Trends in Fashion & Beauty for 2022, speaking to the female Scientists of Sub-Saharan Africa who are breaking glass ceilings and exploring the Loud Silence of Rwanda.
